NoLo Weddings & Events: Original Wedding: Joyce & Ray at The Liriodendron

Joyce and Ray met through an online dating site and had a quick connection. After a few dates they were inseparable and after traveling all over the world together their love blossomed. A few years later Ray set up the perfect proposal and it was official! It is extremely clear that this couple is perfect for one another! They have a magnetic energy between them and you can’t help but love their love!

Flash forward to May 2nd-- It's Joyce and Ray's wedding day! I don’t think there is a venue more breathtaking than the Liriodendron in Spring! The lush woods offer a perfect backdrop for the ceremony, where Ray and Joyce exchanged personal vows. There was even a spot for their dog, Audi, in the bridal party! The lawn games and Pitango gelato insured that the guests had a blast during the cocktail hour and reception.

If I had to sum up Joyce and Ray’s wedding in one word it would be details. Not a single detail was spared in sharing the couple's story. Where they came from, where they have been as a couple and where they are going is shown through countless elements at both the ceremony and reception. From the city named tables to the globe guest book, and the paper airplanes to the intimate tea ceremony, if Joyce and Ray’s guests didn't know them beforehand, they sure did by the end of the night! The couple’s homemade salted caramel and a glow stick exit ended the night perfectly.
