NoLo Weddings & Events: Original Wedding: Jovana & Matt at The Top of the Hay

Jovana & Matt's relationship started, as many chick flicks do, in the middle of a restaurant. The royal restaurant to be exact!

It was November of 2007. Matt had just graduated and Jovana was working at the Royal Restaurant as a hostess. When Matt and his roommate decided to check out the restaurant that proudly declared it had the "best breakfast in town" he didn't realize that it was the beginning of something much bigger. That day Matt left the restaurant, no words exchanged between the two, but unable to get Jovana out of his head. So he did what any logical man would do-- he returned to the restaurant. Twice more. When he was unable to spot her on his third visit, Matt left the restaurant but promptly returned later that day. To his surprise, she was there, and he couldn't leave without introducing himself. After leaving his number he waited. And then she called.

Fast forward five and a half years and here we are. On June 8th Jovana and Matt tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at the Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Their ceremony was followed with a cocktail hour and reception at the Top of the Hay at the Hay Adams Hotel in Washington D.C. Every bit, and I mean E.V.E.R.Y B.I.T of their day was simply gorgeous. From the heart-warming ceremony to the small details and the amazing view of the White House, everything was perfect.

Jovana & Matt-- Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for letting us coordinate this very special day. You were both such a joy to work with and we hope you had the best time at the beach. We also look forward to seeing your family again next year :)
