When we meet with couples for the first time, a question that always comes up is “how did you two meet?” For those who have been around since the beginning, you know that Lorinda and I have known each other since we were 5 years old and have been best friends since we were 13. Thats over a decade of friendship! WOW!

Some would think it is a tricky thing being best friends with your business partner. Truth be told, it is all about finding a balance and rhythm when it comes time to get to work. Anyone who has seen Lorinda and I in action {i.e. “Wedding Mode”} can pick up on how close we are and how well we work together. Communication, at times, is unspoken. We have developed a way of talking in incomplete sentences because the other one fills in the gaps. Where one lacks, the other one is right there to help. I am a big picture person to a fault. Lorinda sees my ideas and brings me down to earth so we can come up with a realistic plan. Lorinda is naturally more organized than I am, so she has developed a way of keeping paperwork and schedules in line so we both succeed.
The best kind of friendship is one where you bring out the best in each other and I think that goes for business partnerships as well. I truly believe the quote “if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” I love what I do and I am so fortunate to be able to work with my best friend. Thank you Lorinda for all of our experiences and adventures so far!
