NoLo Weddings & Events: Original Wedding: Jen and Kevin at Oregon Ridge

When I think back to Jen and Kevin’s wedding my first thought is about the heat on that scorching June day. But that is not my only thought, nor is it the most important. The important memories I have are how much fun the wedding was, how fabulous the venue and food was and most of all how in love and charming Jen and Kevin were.

Oregon Ridge is an awesome venue because it is a blank slate that you can totally make your own. The couple utilized the lawn for a sweet ceremony that was dotted with parasols to beat the heat. Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the band shell for cocktail hour. {If you have never been to Oregon Ridge, seriously do yourself a favor and go simply to see the awesome band shell!} The guests enjoyed delectable hors d’ouvres, were treated to a raw bar and had a variety of cocktails to choose from while enjoying music by a guitarist.

Inside in the Sequoia Room, the scene was set with a captivating entrance way, beautifully decorated tables and L-O-V-E marquee letters on the DJ stage! Kevin and Jen were very hands on and one of the most DIY couples NoLo has had the pleasure of working with. From potted succulents to family members' birdcages being incorporated into the centerpiece, the decor was stunning and Kevin and Jen definitely achieved the rustic chic look they were going for. The photo booth and... wait for it…. CUPCAKE TRUCK(!!!) certainly added an entertainment factor that made the reception special for the guests. Those cupcakes were the most delicious and beautiful I have ever seen, a huge shout out to Icedgems!

Kevin and Jen, your wedding was perfect! I am so thankful to have been a part of that special day in your life. I wish you nothing but the best as Mr. and Mrs.!
